An Italian-made ceiling artwork installed across the lobby of Le Gray Hotel, Beirut.
Project Overview
Capit managed the transport and installation of a large-format ceiling artwork produced in Italy for Le Gray Hotel in central Beirut. The work travelled as oversized panels, each packed for overhead mounting and moved through an active fit-out site. Installation proceeded in coordinated sections at height, with alignment checked across the full span and the hotel's finished surfaces protected throughout. The completed ceiling now reads as a single continuous composition above the lobby.
Brief
Transport and install a large-format ceiling artwork from Italy across the lobby of Le Gray Hotel, Beirut.
Challenge
Oversized panels had to move through an active fit-out site and be mounted overhead in precise alignment, without damage to the artwork or the finished interior.
Solution
Panels were packed and shipped from Italy, then installed at height in coordinated sections — sequenced with the hotel’s construction schedule, with finished surfaces protected throughout.
Outcome
The artwork spans the lobby ceiling as a single continuous composition.
